⚡TRANSITION — RIFLE TO 9MM

-----------

⚡Transitioning from a rifle to a 9MM requires more than simply changing weapons.

This drill focuses on several key elements:

• Speed — reducing the time required to complete the transition.
• Sight acquisition — quickly establishing a clear and effective sight picture.
• Grip — establishing a solid and consistent grip.
• Stance — maintaining a stable position when the rifle swings or leaves the working line.
• Coordination — linking the movements smoothly while maintaining control.

The goal isn't simply to go faster.

The goal is to make the transition fast, controlled, and repeatable.

Train the transition. Build consistency. Perform under pressure.

Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦

Today, we proudly celebrate our country and the people who make it stronger every single day.

A special salute goes out to all my friends, both active and retired, who have served in the Canadian Armed Forces. Your dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to our nation will never be forgotten.

To all those currently deployed around the world, thank you for representing Canada with professionalism, courage, and pride. Stay safe—we're thinking of you.

I'd also like to recognize every member of the public safety community—police officers, firefighters, paramedics, correctional officers, border services officers, dispatchers, military personnel, and all first responders. Thank you for your dedication and your tireless efforts to make Canada a safer place every single day.

Today, we celebrate not only our flag, but the values it represents: freedom, respect, courage, and service.

Happy Canada Day! 🍁🇨🇦
Stay proud. Stay humble. Never stop serving.

OWN THE NIGHT

Weekly Art 7

See First, Strike First.

Night operations have historically been a valuable but niche capability units employed to gain a temporary tactical advantage.

Advanced night-vision devices are no longer strictly an advantage. Commercial availability and black-market sales mean rival militaries and insurgents have leveled the playing field.

Traditional analog, green-tinted night vision is being outpaced. Modern night operations require combinations of thermal imaging, low-light sensors, and augmented reality to see through smoke and fog.

Own The Night flag currently on offer until Sunday 28th June.
