Did you know Orcas don’t eat the whole Herring? This is what’s left. The orcas consume the stunned and dead herring and spit out the heads and spines. Incredible to see.

And suddenly we see this huge fin gliding through the icy water. An amazing sight. One distinctive feature of the orca is its dorsal fin, which can reach 1.8 metres high in males.

Estar en el agua cuando estos animales cazan es una experiencia que no se puede explicar con palabras, ver a dos de mis especies favoritas al mismo tiempo siempre me saca una lagrimita, te hace sentir muy humilde y agradecido!

To be in the water when these animals hunt is an experience that cannot be put into words.
To see two of my favorite species side by side always brings out a little tear of joy, it makes you feel so humble and thankful !

Spending with orcas in the frigid arctic waters made me reflect once again on how much we, as humans, can learn from these magnificent creatures. Their intelligence, gentleness, and profound acceptance of us are remarkable. It’s hard to comprehend, especially when considering our horrific impact on this planet.

My heart skipped a beat in the presence of this majestic beauty. A breathtaking moment when time stood still – an orca gracefully gliding by through a sea of bubbles 💙🐋
