This is our #BlackHistoryMonth schedule! Usually we bring you one event a month, but this month is important - so 2 it is! 🎉 You can register for these events on our website or via the links in our bio! Tickets are on a donation basis, so you can pay nothing at all, or what you can afford. Dardishi is a not-for-profit project, and all the ticket sales go to paying these Afro-Arab artists for their work 🌟

For all of the newcomers to the @gifestival, artist @fiona_grady shares with us her recommendations in her Journal ‘Come Rain or Come Shine’. Fiona spent three days visiting around thirty venues for the festival’s eighth edition, and her suggestions include everything - from well known institutions, commercial galleries, project spaces, artist studios, vacant buildings, and the occasional shop. 📸 by @fiona_grady .
