Work in the wild with @thisisresyn & @_ceremony_studios

As a visual artist, it’s always a so interesting working with musicians as it’s a whole other world of creativity. I love getting a peek into their spaces and hearing about the areas they nerd out in. Resyn is a resell market for some of the coolest, rarest instruments out there, and this year I got to shoot some talented musicians and learn a bit about how they create.

Thank you @_ceremony_studios @lieselplambeck @eddie_obrand for bringing me on! Musicians featured are @jcup.c, @yoni_keynan, @slugslyfe @ @oblimusic 🎶🎸🎺

These past 10 years as a family have been the best years of my life. Waking up everyday to my two chatty babies. We still have the marks on the wall where Tuna used to rub his face in between screams for food. The constant cuddles and stretches. Knowing I could stop what I was doing at any moment, run to the couch, give Tuna a stretch and scoop him up to dance around the house. When we ate dinner, Tuna was always there rolling around on his back looking exceptionally cute. Knowing whenever we walked in the house they would both be there snuggling on the couch. The slow blinks. The endless hours in my lap getting forehead kisses and belly rubs. The infinitive love. There are so many things I miss every single day and it doesn't get easier but to be able to live and experience the infinite love that these two gave and allowed me to fully give back is something I will have forever.
I cried my eyes out yesterday when my amazing mother in law brought me this piece from our favorite artist @yoni_keynan ♥️ This is how they spent most of their days, snuggled up on the couch waiting for us to get home from work. And Tunas expression is so perfect I know exactly what I was saying to him here and he is mid slow blink totally soaking it in.
@_my__name_is_jay_ @evelyn_luvs_books @yoni_keynan thank you so much ♥️

Born and raised in Los Angeles, @yoni_keynan is an artist and purveyor of rare vintage guitars and strange, beautiful instruments. A former production designer turned fine artist, he now spends his days painting in his converted garage studio that is equal parts art space and music temple.

Yoni himself is fun and charismatic – buzzing with the kind of electric energy that makes you think, “Yes, I could absolutely get into trouble having a beer with this man.”

His space is a glorious mess of instruments, records, cassette tapes, and paint-splattered supplies. We talked about his collection as Minor Threat roared through the speakers. Hit the link in our stories to browse Yoni’s shop!

What a privilege it was to paint for this amazing couple! Olivia & Zachary’s day was full of memories with family and friends. I could not have done it without my team and all of their hard work!
