Some albums tell stories.

Crotus builds a world.

Inspired by the mythology of Sagittarius, the lore surrounding the rivers Euphrates and Tigris, and the idea that every meaningful connection changes who we become, this project follows an archer navigating love, ego, longing, freedom, memory, and self-discovery.

The deeper you go, the more the symbols begin speaking to one another.

The rivers.
The archer.
The journey.
The clay.
The silence between the songs.

Nothing is there by accident.

Welcome to Crotus.

The journey begins. 🏹🌊

I spent a lot of this year burnt out on making music after years of grinding and overthinking every aspect of it. Eventually I stopped enjoying the process and that was when I knew it was time for me to step away and focus on just living life for a bit. I’m finally taking things back to my roots of this music shit - back when the focus was just having fun creating freely without worrying about streams, fan expectations, rollouts, etc.

I wanted to make a mixtape like the old days I grew up in of Datpiff, Spinrilla, MyMixtapez, etc. I present to you KNOCK CITY VOL. 1, a series I will continue going forward of just fun music that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Enjoy! Link in bye owe

KNOCK CITY VOL. 1 out now EVERYWHERE! If you’d like to support you can purchase on Bandcamp and EVEN

Recorded by me
