Delighted to share that I’m taking part in York Open Studios next year!

Over two weekends…
17th & 18th April and 24th & 25th April 2027

With a taster exhibition the weekend before 10th & 11th April 2027 at the Hospitium in the Museum gardens, York.

Working on lots of large botanical monoprints with rolled oils for this. So excited!

Already looking forward to exhibiting on Richardson Street with fellow artist Caroline Munro @cnmfineart

Huge appreciation to @yorkcreatives for the opportunity to take part in the print sale at @patchplaces last night. Thanks to @leonfrancoisdumont and @eloise.creative for being so helpful and welcoming and to EVERYONE who has supported me on this crazy adventure over the last 6 months! Especially @philthegrip for always being such a constantly supportive presence and for letting me just BLOODY GO FOR IT!!! Also to all those ongoing cheerleaders and champions, (@jean.halifax @halseyt @greenlifegp @buffster99 @chloehanks23 @chrisgl1 @rangerofdestiny @rachel.briggs.794 @adrienne_french @catrinamadwoman @atravelbug to name but a few) I am beyond grateful. Last night was a culmination of months of work and the first thing I’ve done on my own really ever… ( so missed my creative teacher teammates on this one 😢 @amybarrett97 @chrisgl1 ). It was so lovely to meet so many lovely new people though @mervsoriginals @sketchesbyashton @thecoffeepodyork @designed.by.holly @designed_by_holly @leaf_on_letter_designs @philbix. Look forward to seeing you all at the next one!! Also @byellacairns - so looking forward to whatever we do next - thanks to you for being so endlessly encouraging.
Prints still available to buy in the Patchplaces Shop! And for me - Watch this space… @yorkopenstudios here we come!!! #cyanotype #artinnature #cyanotypeprint #outoftheblueartworks #justbloodydoit

First stage of the drawing is done.

This piece was alway intended to celebrate York Open Studios, luckily I got in! It is a special year for York Open Studios as they will be celebrating 25 years in 2027.

The narrative is my ceramic journey in York, since I set up two years ago, and York Open Studios has been a big part of this.

It will now be left to dry out before it gets it first firing.

If anyone was wondering why I was suddenly the cool silent type, it's because insta doomed me for the last few posts 😭 but I have spotted it now!!

Anyway this part 2/2 of the EPIC art on display this weekend at @GatewayYork - free and open to the public!

and I have forgotten a bunch of the names because of insta messing my comment up but it's the ENTIRE point of my post so I'm very annoyed about it 😂 and I think the artists are @nicolagloverart @raemerriman @little_wren_creations @jelena_lunge @flowerdroid @donnataylorart @charleyhellierart @dibach123 @monistudio_art who are all incredible local artists, and thanks again to @_artofprotest_ for organising @acombfest

A small oil on wood panel, which started as a sketch… but then I got carried away.
I’m hoping to complete a few more before NYOS in June. They’ll be framed, ready to hang, and priced in a way that should make you smile.
