We are not recognized as full and equal participants in society without access to abortion care. Abortion access means liberation. It also means taking care of each other.

If your friend at Duke came to you and said they needed to know how to get an abortion, would you know how to direct them to the right resources?

Visit the 'Safe Sex 101 Guide’ in our bio for thorough information on trusted abortion providers in the area and resources for self-managed abortion.

Abortion bans can be confusing. That’s by design, but you are not alone.

North Carolina criminalizes clinicians who provide abortions after 12 weeks gestation, with a few narrow legal exceptions in rare cases.

When seeking care, remember to look out for and avoid anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs). CPCs are fake clinics that lie about abortion and birth control, attempting to prevent people from finding the care they need.

You can book an appointment at a local Planned Parenthood Health Center at plannedparenthood.org/get-care. The closest health centers to campus are in Durham and Chapel Hill. Independent abortion clinics nearby include North Durham Women's Health and A Woman's Choice of Raleigh.

Even if you are beyond 12 weeks gestation, you always have options. Self-managed medication abortions are safe and effective. Many of the tagged organizations here can help you assess your options and find the abortion care you need.

Imagine having an idea and seeing it exist beyond you and into future generations. I actually teared up watching the power of Sarah Maclauchlan stand on stage with Olivia Rodrigo essentially passing the baton. From the mind of Sarah in the creation of Lilith Fair in ‘97 to 23 year old Olivia watching the documentary and asking, how do we do this today? 😭 that’s why we do this work, for the movement not the moment.

It was a real festival! We had no service and dead phones.

A feminist herstory walk led you from stage to stage. Incredible poetic and a metaphor that exemplifies today can only exist based on the work of our ancestors who envisioned change was possible.

Heat stroke, hour long lines, 2.5hours stuck in the parking lot… still the best day ever and 5 star rating.
