On Wednesday, as the storms gathered once again over the Playa, our community came together the only way we know how, with music, movement, and joy.

Before the storm rolled in, @kimonos.music brought the music, uniting us in movement, laughter, and light.

What began as a spontaneous party at camp quickly became a reminder of the strength and spirit that define us.

Even as the skies darkened and the winds rose, we danced. We laughed. We connected. Because that’s what this community does, we find light in every shadow and rhythm in every storm.

(1/3) Our journey to Burning Man started with storms that turned the playa into Mudman 2.0. We rebuilt our shiftpod, ran out of propane, and still managed to feast thanks to Robby the robot whippin up orange chicken + garlic noods 🤖🍜. Somewhere between chaos and survival, we even rescued a stranded traveler and his 84-year-old mom out the mud. Burn started wild this year!

My first three Burns were all about me—healing, growing, and finding inspiration when I felt damaged, frustrated, and stuck. Every year, the playa had a way of holding me through it.

But this year, my intention shifted. It wasn’t about me anymore, it was about showing up for my people. My community, @longfengartcar . My loved ones. The ones who’ve stood by me through it all. I wanted to step up, take on more responsibility, and be there for others the way they’ve always been there for me.

And wow, what a year to do it. From wild storms and floods to mud thick as cement, this Burn threw challenges at us like never before. But together, we rose to the occasion. We pushed through, problem-solved, and made it happen as a team.

We hauled an 85 lb tuna out to the desert and served up over 1,000 pieces of sushi on the playa with our @finsoffortune Fam. We even had Robby, our AI stir-fry robot, cooking up Orange Chicken, Garlic Noodles, beef and chicken fajitas, and more. And through it all, our crew still managed to deliver over 2,100 meals to our camp throughout the week.

One of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done. So many lessons learned, so much room to grow, but most importantly, we DID it. Beyond grateful for our kitchen team. Y’all are legends. Love you forever. You already know 🫡

Next Robot’s mission is to feed the world, and this has now become my personal mission too. This Burn has shown me that it’s bigger than me—it’s about nourishment, community, and building something that lasts.
