Aliph, in partnership with CIMAT (Ciments de l’Atlas) and Younes Duret Design Studio, is opening applications for a 3-week, in-person spatial design course in the heart of the Palmeraie in Marrakesh.

Le 3 octobre à Marrakech, l’Institut français a inauguré ce nouvel espace muséal consacré à la vie et à l’œuvre de Denise Masson.

Une soirée placée sous le signe de la mémoire, de la transmission et du dialogue, en présence de M.Philippe Lalliot, Ambassadeur de France au Maroc, M. Khatib El Hebil, Wali de la région Marrakech-Safi, M. Quentin Teisseire, Consul Général de France à Marrakech, Mme Chloé Goupille, directrice générale de l’Institut français du Maroc, Mme Elisabeth Bauchet-Bouhlal, PDG d’Es Saadi Marrakech resort et Mme Flora Boillot, directrice de l’institut français à Marrakech.

Cette semaine focus sur @karla.resmi qui sera notre guest pour la case Discover, elle vient d’Almaty, une ville dans les regions montagneuses du Kazakhstan. Elle est arrivée au mix à travers la danse qu’elle pratique! Férue de House Music et dérivés, elle joue aussi d’autres styles, r&b,soul music, funk, disco, hip-hop et bossa nova. Elle nous a pour le coup fait une belle session bien chill que vous pourrez écouter ce mercredi à 18h, vendredi à minuit et samedi a 14h. Pour notre second focus, il s’agit de @younesdesign , co-fondateur de www.nessradio.com qui chaque semaine nous régale avec sa résidence Mixology, souvent enregistrée lors de sessions live @barometremarrakech , endroit que je vous conseille vivement de visiter si vous allez à Marrakech ! Vous pouvez sinon retrouver les sessions de Younes chaque mardi à 19h, vendredi à 22h et samedi à midi! Enjoy!!! ( Paris Time)

🇲🇦 Last week, continuing a yearly tradition we’ve held since 2020, we brought together an extraordinary group of creatives, educators, strategists, innovators, and thought leaders from across Africa, Europe, and the US for the Creative Offsite | Marrakesh 2026.

🌍 Over three days of discussions, spotlight sessions, working groups, and cultural immersion, we explored what it would take to operationalize a new model of higher education in design and innovation — one that is more human-centered, more responsive to industry and technological change, and more deeply grounded in cultural context.

✨ What made this gathering especially meaningful was the quality of connection shaped around a shared sense of purpose. New relationships formed, perspectives productively collided, ideas sharpened, and a real sense of conviction emerged: that this moonshot is not only worth pursuing, but worth building together.

🚀 Most importantly, this was not simply an inspiring exchange of ideas. We left Marrakesh with something tangible: a clear and actionable plan to pilot, prototype, and formally launch a new educational model designed to identify, nurture, and enable the next generation of creative talent from across the African continent.

💫 That is what made this year’s Creative Offsite so significant. It was not only about imagining what might be possible, but about aligning people, energy, and intentions around concrete next steps.
Deep gratitude to everyone who showed up with such generosity, rigor, and heart. And to those who could not join us this time: you were missed, but you remain part of this journey.
