Balancing diabetes and being a parent isn’t easy… I found a quote today that made me smile because it’s SO true.

💕 Shout out to all the T1 parents and caregivers today! 💕

“I think every working mom feels the same thing: you go through big chucks of time where you’re just thinking, ‘This is impossible. Oh, this is impossible!’ And then you just keep going and going, and you sort of do the impossible.”

Diabetic Meetup: Philadelphia, PA
An experience I’ll never forget 🫶

There is an unmatched connection you immediately feel when you meet another person living with diabetes.

You feel their resilience, their strength, their gratitude to be alive, their fight. It’s amazing to have met these beautiful ( fly-abetic ) people yesterday. I feel a wave of emotions while writing this because I never in a million years thought life would bring these people into my life and I am so thankful.

If you ever have an opportunity to attend a diabetic meet up- go for itttt 👊🏼

Some days are good, and others are just amazing!! Today was the latter. Have you ever spent an entire day, no holds barred, being about and around your people? I mean your people, people!! Like you can talk to them about any and everything because they truly get you! Today was that day. We showed up. And we showed out!

Thank you Philly Region DiaCrew 💙

🎶 Do you know what today is? It’s our Homeaversary🎶

9yrs ago today we purchased our 1st home!!! Although, we invested in real estate prior to becoming homeowners, this purchase was different. It was our very own home where we could raise our princess & create memories.
🏡 🏡
We are beyond grateful & considering it’s a part of our retirement plan makes it all worth while❤️ .
