POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Despite having one of the hardest seasons of our lives, my son has given me countless reasons to celebrate.

National Honor Society. Countless scholarship awards. Varsity basketball. College acceptance. So many moments worth celebrating.

More than any accomplishment, I’m proud of the young man you’ve become.

@whois.issaiah you’ve handled disappointment with grace. You’ve stayed humble through success. You’ve been loyal to your friends, kind to the people around you, and you’ve continued showing up even when things weren’t easy.

People always say we raise our children, but the truth is we grow up with them too. I became a mother before I had all the answers, and we’ve spent the last 18 years learning, stumbling, laughing, grieving, celebrating, and growing side by side. Being your mom has been the greatest honor of my life.

Izzy, the world is yours. Chase every dream with the same discernment and heart you’ve carried this far. I’ll always be in your corner.

And to the village, thank you.

There is no version of Izzy’s story without the people who poured into him, coached him, encouraged him, challenged him, loved him, and showed up for him.

My sister. @tia8254 there are no words to express my gratitude for you. @mikemovesfornow & @miss_sizzo you two have been there for him since day 1 and I’m eternally grateful. @dannyfox4430 & @oritkuritsky I can’t thank you enough. All the coaches and community leaders @c_got_u , @ben.pim.lott, and especially @yourboygeo

If I’ve tagged you, please know you’ve helped shape this young man in ways that mattered more than you probably realize.

I love you, Izzy. More than words will ever be able to say. ❤️

Yesterday was one of those days that puts everything into perspective. I remember the first day I dropped you off at Paige Academy. It feels like yesterday. Then came Morse School, Putnam Ave Upper School, Cambridge Rindge & Latin, and now… graduation.

Wow.

As a father, there are moments you dream about, moments you pray for, and moments you work tirelessly to help make possible. This is one of those moments. I’ve watched you grow from a young boy finding his way into a young man with character, resilience, leadership, and determination. I’ve watched you overcome adversity, including missing an entire season with a broken ankle and fractured fibula, only to come back stronger, become an All-League player, lead your team in points and steals, and continue to chase your dreams with everything you have.

But beyond the awards, the basketball, and the accomplishments, I’m most proud of the man you’ve become. Your heart, your work ethic, your perseverance, and the way you carry yourself make me proud every single day. This chapter is complete, but your story is just beginning.

Congratulations, son. I couldn’t be prouder of you. Keep believing. Keep working. Keep leading.

Love,
Dad ❤️ Big E #FamilyFirst
