I put veils in and take them out pretty much every weekend during wedding season but this one was just pinned very differently than usually and I didn't want to mess up Niky's hair of course too!
But while I struggled, @ageofindie CREATED! Using this small downtime to capture beautiful bride portraits in the middle of the dance floor before we let guests into the ballroom at @fairmontlaurier

Being trusted by a couple to pull off the biggest day of their lives is a privilege I do not take lightly. Being the last one they see before they walk down the aisle, watching their faces when they see the room for the first time,
and then stepping back to watch them celebrate with all the people they love most in the world in one room makes all those meetings, logistics, floorplans, emails, timelines and endless detail checking so worth it.

My work day is someone’s BEST DAY EVER.
And honestly? I know how lucky I am. 🤍
This is why I do what I do.

🥂🌸 🤍Celebrating the bride-to-be in the sweetest way. 🌸🥂🤍

A beautiful bridal shower calls for a beautiful spread — filled with colourful salads, fresh vegetables, delicate sandwiches, pastries, cheeses, dips and plenty of delicious bites for guests to enjoy. 🤍

We love creating catering that feels just as special as the occasion — beautiful, abundant, and completely stress-free for the host. ✨

Here’s to the bride-to-be! 🥂💍

Still taking in all the love from the most beautiful bridal shower.

Every little detail was filled with so much thought, care, and love, and I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by family and friends who came together to make this day so special.

A very special thank you to my amazing mom, Soheila, and my wonderful mother-in-law, Violette. The love, time, energy, and heart you poured into this day meant more to me than I could ever put into words. Seeing everything come together was truly a labour of love, not only from the two of you, but from all of our family and friends who helped make this celebration so unforgettable.

My heart is so full. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, helped behind the scenes, and made me feel so loved as I step into this next chapter.

And of course, so much appreciation for the incredible vendors who helped bring this beautiful day to life:

⚠️Warning: This idea is only for couples looking for fun, un-traditional ideas!
Laura and Marcus wanted a very different kind of day compared to most.
Starting off with a bride who didn't want to be hidden away
Then a bubbly bar as guests arrived (Veuve Cliquot and sparkling water)
And then leaving it to chance who would sign their license by having stickers on the coaster of each drink but only 2 polar bear ones.
During the ceremony guests were asked to check their coasters for the polar bears!
Was so unexpected but at the same time their people were like "this is SO THEM!!"
Tell me below if you'd do any of these or if you have other untraditional ideas let's hear them!
