So many creatives feel the pressure to keep producing… even when their energy is whispering that it’s time to slow down.

In her new article for the well, Jenny Leigh Hodgins @yourcreativechord invites us into a softer way of relating to our creative process: one that honours our nervous system, our responsibilities and the cyclical nature of creative energy.

She reminds us that:
🌿 stillness is productive
🌿 boundaries protect your creative spark
🌿 your creative rhythm is allowed to ebb and flow
🌿 small rituals of rest can restore far more than we think

Jenny also shares her RESET framework for navigating burnout and rebuilding sustainable creative flow: something many of us deeply need at this time of year.

If you’re longing for a more grounded, nourishing relationship with your creativity, this article is such a beautiful place to begin.

Behind the Mic 🎙️

How can loss open unexpected pathways to deeper and more authentic creativity?

I’m currently painting our lounge. It’s the only thing I feel called to do today. Whilst we've decided to paint the walls 'Timeless White' for now, we've started imagining what this space will become, the mood we want to create and the stories we want to celebrate in here.

Sometimes you just need to be there for yourself. "Your life knows what it needs."

I'm excited to announce my participation in the upcoming Creativity & Wellness Connection Panel on April 22, 2025, at 2 PM EST. This event holds a special place in my heart as we explore the profound connection between creativity and well-being.

For me, creativity isn’t just about making art—it’s about how we express ourselves, solve problems, and navigate life's challenges. I’ve experienced firsthand how creative flow can be both healing and energizing, and I know how tough it can be to stay inspired while managing stress and burnout.
