Auntie’s baaaaack and there’s a new dating demo to discuss: women over 35 who have a life they love, an ex they don’t want and a future they’re still figuring out.

On thee @yourfavoriteauntieshow Season 3 premiere, @sophia_roe and Auntie get into the experience of dating after 35, when you’ve built your career, found your people, made your apartment a sanctuary, and finally figured out what you’re willing to spend your money on (the nice hotel room AND the microneedling, thank you very much). You’re more confident in who you are, but that doesn’t mean figuring out what comes next is any easier.

And then there’s the question of kids, the pressure of the biological clock, and navigating a dating pool that looks very different from the one our mothers knew.

Gentrification is changing New York and so many other historically Black neighborhoods. And that’s why you see people so passionately doubling down on their culture, traditions, businesses, music, food, and community.

It’s sad to watch people get priced out of the neighborhoods they grew up in — places where their families built businesses, created traditions, and made memories. #FedUp
