you wouldn’t know this is me. but it is. and i really like this photo i found. i really miss my childhood. i miss what i had as a kid. the people i had. mom mom grapes. my moms mom. when she had cancer and couldn’t move much but i’d come up into her hospital bed and she’d sneak me flat 7 up, hiding it from my mom. i miss those moments. community is such a weird thing now, everything feels so performative and i feel like im at times the only one trying?? should i have to try? why is it hard to find something or someone that feels mutually appreciative of what you bring to your friendship and what you could offer them. maybe the issue is im looking too hard. i want too much. should i expect less? more? anything at all? idk. at the end of the day the world still turns on an axis and i get to mak

i shidded

this quarter has been a lot mentally and physically and all the ways that jacob gennaro fanelli exists within the plane of existence. recently got terminated from my therapist( she will be back she just getting her phd on some chill shit) but maaaaaan has that sucked. also trying to figure out if i can still attend drexel for my last year! everything is a fight and struggle but like my mom said we will get through it. like my dad said we got it. even when i scream and cry on the phone feeling hopeless. they assure me, no matter the cost no matter the turmoil. sometimes i don’t know how im still here or how i actually am bossing up. i’ve also been reflecting a lot more this quarter of who i want to be and where i want to be. frankly, im hungry. not the food kind, i know you’d assume given my stature and physical build. i just want jobs and i want to chisel away at something. i guess build myself, my image? i’m also applying to grad schools so thats mad scary but yk what so is life and i don’t think i should be here in the logistical standpoint. my whole life there has been a whole stop sign blocking me from proceeding yet i find my ways to hurdle the impossible. is this what doctor strange meant by 1 possible chance out of 14,000,605 realities? even though my education is a film degree i think i am as silly as someone going for computer science. but we’re all silly. we’re silly to believe we can make it, that we can climb to the top. if we all think like we’re lego we can build each other up. then bam. i like being silly. and i like my odds. to 1 out of 14,000,605 outcomes.
