so so grateful and honoured to be given the chance to do a second instalment of Paricaẏa !!

Paricaẏa (meaning identity in Bengali) is an evening curated by Tasnim Chowdhury that explores the relationship between identity and fashion within London’s South Asian community.

The second instalment of Paricaẏa will focus on football and fashion exploring the rise of women’s football and its impact, aspirations, limitations and representation amongst British South Asian women using my sister, Farah Chowdhury’s story, as inspiration for my graduate collection.

The evening will comprise of a conversation between my sister and I followed by a presentation of my graduate collection ‘No Match of the Day’ completely restyled featuring poetry readings by @yourmumjess and music by @lumtinwing and @amishasitar

With a curated display of how the collection was created, I will also be presenting my graduate collection lookbook
