So I know socials have been a little light the last few weeks but thats because for the last 6 weeks I was participating in @yourshot_usa and it has been such an incredible experience.

For the last 5 weeks I have gotten to help teach and work with so many driven students who had little to no experience with DJing at all and to watch them transform not only as DJs but confident people playing for crowds that would've had me trembling as a new DJ.

Not only that but to watch multiple students win their respective stages and then compete in the finals was just an indescribable feeling. I am so proud of every single one of them and look forward to many more years of Your Shot.

PS I tried to tag and post them all but there were so many haha

Came for the DJ lessons, left with a little more belief in myself.

Week one with YOUR SHOT NYC! Much love to founder Steve Pillemer for the encouragement. Trying something new can be intimidating, and those words meant a lot.

What’s one piece of advice that gave YOU the confidence to go for it? Drop it below. Somebody might need it today. 👇🏾

Come with me to my first DJ class!

DJs, what’s one thing you wish somebody told you when you first started? And ladies behind the decks, what advice do you have for a woman entering the scene?

Drop some gems for me!
