Day 6: Pumpkins 🎃🌱📮

Just a cozy fall day at the pumpkin patch thanks to me raiding my kids’ supplies again. If you haven’t used the STABILO woody 3 in 1 before, they are like colored pencils meets wax crayon. You can even watercolor with it, and it works on all kinds of surfaces, not just paper. Another bonus, they write dry, so no mess. Perfect for kids, and obviously, adults.

Hope you like it, @yourstrulea!

p.s. Don’t forget to use code BRENNAMEDIA10 when shopping with Paper Source this season to save 🤑

Supplies:
- @papersource envelope
- @uspostalservice Goodnight Moon stamp
- @stabilousa woody 3 in 1

If you know me at all, you know since I was 3 I have been obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. My art studio is themed, and many amazing friends and artists gift me Alice artwork like this piece from @yourstrulea !! I paired it in my art/junk journal (one of my many used @passionplanner ‘s) with this page from @ravenreignsdesigns Alice in Wonderland book! All this week and next I will show you my art journaling using pieces from that cut and collage book, and artwork gifted to me. I’m so excited to show you all ALICE!! I will also do a flip through so you can see the whole thing in it’s whimsical glory 🍄🐛☕️🦩♥️👑♠️🐈‍⬛🌼🍞🐇

Day 21: Monster 👀🎩✉️

My mind immediately went to the stamp I was going to use for this prompt, so I decided to just use the Message Monster stamps as inspo for the whole envelope. They were released in 2021, and I wish I had more of them left. They are one of Agnes’ fave stamps, but I’ve had to slow her use so that we have some left for special occasions, such as a monster envelope theme.

I’m also slow today because to get the light pink color I needed here and there, I used the Soufflé pens by @sakuraofamerica. They are super juicy and fun, but take a minute to dry. But, we made it, and we’ve got some cute little monsters to present to the class. ☺️

This envelope will be off to @yourstrulea, the first person who filled out my form last week!

80th birthday treat! 🍦🥳

Thanks for letting me celebrate your MaMaw, @yourstrulea! 🥹 I heard she had a wonderful birthday and got my card. I also couldn’t resist this card and stamp pairing.

The goal is to have my site up next month so I can help you celebrate with cards like this, too. Until then, I’ll just keep my lettering skills up with personal mail. 💌✍🏻

Check out @zander_mack for cute cards like this one I had leftover from Punkpost inventory.

✨ Artist feature: Halea Trueblood ✨

@yourstrulea is keeping people connected with personal heartfelt greetings and artistic handwritten sentiments they can truly treasure forever.

I’ve known Halea for four years, and during that time she wrote more than 11,000 cards at Punkpost. 🤯 So to say she’s a pro at handwritten cards is an understatement. She’s been working so hard since the Punkpost closure announcement to be able to offer her own handwritten card service, and just this week she officially launched her website: yourstrulea.com. Head over to her feed to see her work and click her link in bio to start sending handwritten cards like these.

Has Halea ever written a card for you?
