Oh boy. This project marked my heart in a very permanent way. As an actor, the greatest gift is when you feel you’re not acting at all but able to genuinely live a different life in a different world in the space between “action” and “cut.” And that’s the time travelling immersive magic this film doused me with. It was an immense emotional undertaking and somehow simultaneously effortless, like stepping back into a recurring dream where you’re conscious it will end at some point but have little control what happens in the meantime and subsequently surrender yourself to each moment, the cozy bits in culmination with the heartbreaking ones who fit together to tell a story. And it’s a beautiful story. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard (and continues to work so hard) to tell it. ♥️ And more than anything, thank you for the dance.
