After a long and successful mission, all Kouya wanted was to relax.
After taking Tala home, he went to his usual bar, hoping to drink a few cups of sake and forget about missions, duties, or anything else for a few hours. As soon as he entered the bar, his gaze fell upon Yōsuke, who, as always, was sitting alone at the counter. He was probably the last person Kouya wanted to see today. Nevertheless, he walked over and sat down next to him.
- "What a surprise. I didn't know our star ANBU boy could actually relax" - Kouya said with a grin.
- "It happens. I just know my limits, unlike a certain someone here" - Yōsuke replied calmly, without looking at him. Kouya rolled his eyes and turned to the sake he had just ordered.
- "Whatever.." - he muttered irritably.
Two hours and a few bowls of sake later, Kouya leaned against the edge of the table and looked at the man sitting across from him.
Yōsuke was the complete opposite of him. Quiet, distant, and difficult to read. The two of them were constantly at each other's throats. They argued over the smallest things and rarely saw eye to eye during missions.
And yet..
Whenever Yōsuke was beside him, Kouya could simply switch off.
But.. why him?
Why did this particular guy, the same guy who had gotten on his nerves countless times, make him feel almost.. at ease?
Kouya didn’t know.
- "Why are you staring at me like that? Do I have something on my face?" - Yōsuke suddenly asked, looking Kou straight in the eyes.
Kouya blinked.
- "Hm?"
- "You’re staring at me"- Yōsuke repeated.
Kouya was still just staring at him. Maybe it was the sake. Maybe it was the exhaustion.
- "You don’t lo

The mystery of the Materwelon 🍉🚫❕

A day at the beach with Asuka and her friends. Playing Beach Volleyball, splashing in the water and building sand castles. Suddenly after they decided to take a break something was off. That was not their watermelon. It was something else.

Keisuke: "Don't touch it! That is not our watermelon we left here. It looks different."
Kouya: "Weird. I can't smell that something is off. But it looks indeed different but I cannot pinpoint what it is..."
Neytiri: "It really is something different. It is a materwelon! The patterns look identical but you can slightly see that it is just like a watermelon but the green lines are switched up!"
Keisuke: "Seriously?! A materwelon?! It sounds like the biggest joke I've ever heard! But I cannot deny that there is definitely something about this one."
Neytiri: "That's the point. It looks like a watermelon but it is actually highly poisonous. The ridiculous name makes it easier to memorize and to disguise it as a watermelon."
Asuka: "Then the significant someone must know how to stay undetectable in front of Inuzuka-Clan members. Chīgetsu told me that there are enough ways to get around that. And according to what Neytiri said we can also assume that a materwelon even tastes identical like a watermelon and the poison is both tasteless and scentless."
Neytiri: "The opposites go even further. Not just that the pattern is switched up but you also can hear the quality of the watermelon if you knock on one side and hold your ear close on the other side. The materwelon has the same trait but swapped. Watermelon - deep and hollow sound = ripe and juicy. Materwelon = higher potent poison."
Kouya: "But if I cannot smell the traitor, you could try it with your Byakugan, right?"
Asuka: "Even when I enhance my vision with the Sage Mode. The traitor is probably already far far away."
Keisuke: "Brainstorming guys! We have to track the traitor down and find out what their business is with us."

Hope you enjoy this little crossover adventure. 🩷

Finallyyyyyy redoing her reference sheet + soft reboot.

I've been thinking about it a lot and the more I think, the less Shinogiji being a teacher makes sense.
So I decided to get rid of it. She still does tutor "difficult" cases like Hakari or Yuta, as a favour to Gojo and Yaga. And she rarely says "no" if a young sorcerer seeks her out and asks for help training.

But yeah, she's not formally a teacher, she's a contract sorcerer working closely with the higher-ups. She hates it.

[ Fanart for @yuk.icha ]
•—————•
Oh ehm, Hi long to no see, I hope you remember me👋🏻😅

I was gone and now I'm back (not fully) 😂
So much has happened in my life that I lost all my spark for drawing, but now that my apprenticeship is over and I graduated (I'm now an official junior media designer 🥳), I finally have the time, motivation and self-confidence to draw again and holy airball, I missed it sooo much 😭
•—————•
I wanted to start with a requested fanart (maybe two years ago haha) by @yuk.icha, she requested her oc yuki, and omg i love it! Can you see the slight changes in my drawings? 🥹❤️🐺

If you want the image, just DM me🤗❤
