Session two: The Capacity for Generative Conflict was transformative.✨ I’m so appreciative of everyone who came and brought their transparency with them. Thank you so much to @seasonedbysydnie for providing us with such yummy food. It makes it so much easier to learn when our bellies are full. I can’t help but notice what a blessing it is to break bread together while learning how to tend to our connections with each other 🫂✨ Thank you again @durhamburrow for providing us space and if yall can go to their page and donate some coin to appreciate what this space offers to community. @conflictismyfriend Session One of Conflict Navigation Series: Address the Problem before the Party was a success! • I wanna thank everyone who attended for the depth and the honesty y’all brought and the true desire to learn how to work it out! I wanna thank for @haziel.thegreat providing us with delicious food including but not limited to chicken tinga wraps, salmon sliders and lemon cheesecake. It’s so important to me to provide food at gatherings especially during dinner time because we don’t need to be trying to learn with a growling stomach and if I can provide one time where you don’t have to think, worry about money on how to eat I will provide it everytime! I wanna thank @durhamburrow for providing us such a cozy space for us to learn in. This space allowed for the conversations that were suppose to happen actually happen! 1. We have two more sessions you can join this week at the same location and would love for yall to join us. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! Links in bio! 2. 🌊What if conflict could deepen connection instead of creating division? 🌊 Join us for our Conflict Resolution Practice Pods: Building Skills for Generative Conflict, a three-part virtual learning series designed to help us move through conflict with greater resilience, empathy, and awareness of power dynamics. Through peer learning and hands-on practice, we’ll strengthen our capacity to listen, ask meaningful questions, and transform conflict into opportunities for connection and change. 💛WHO: Leaders, change-makers, and *anyone* ready to deepen their conflict resolution practice. 💛WHEN: Mondays Nov 2, 16 & 30 | 11 AM–2 PM PT *Optional BIPOC-only practice space: Dec 7* 💛WHERE: On Zoom 💛HOW: Register through our link in bio or visit https://linktr.ee/compasspoint 💛HOW MUCH: Sliding-scale registration: $400–$875 📌Please note: This is a three-part series (with 1 optional, additional session for Black, Indigenous, and people of color) that takes place on Zoom in Pacific time.
