GHOST/SHIP’s RAMP THING Mini Ramp Jamboree rolled in from the mist like a mean Nor’easter—a motley cast of creative transition manipulators hellbent on destroying Nags Head Skatepark’s 48’ wide mini ramp with every style, line, and slick trick imaginable. ☠️🤍🌊

The Unsponsored Division brought out some fine upstarts with smooth lines and bright futures. Standouts included:

#GHOSTSHIPCREW’s @mike_mike_23_ IS AN OUTER BANKS LEGEND & PRO AF — and what could be more fitting than a surprise reveal from his closest friends at @moms_sweet_shop, featuring hand-painted @chris_dyer art, remixed as linework specifically for Mikey’s GS graphic by the legendary artist himself?

Original hand-painted deck by Chris Dyer remixed as line art for GHOST/SHIP & colored by MIKEY WEEKS. Chris Dyer has been a contemporary and friend of GHOST/SHIP founder Andy Howell for many years, and the perfect opportunity to collaborate on Mikey’s deck arose when Mikey ran into Chris at a music festival in Florida last year. The circle was complete when Andy and Mikey FaceTimed Dyer at his new home in Florida, and GS LEGEND Kris Markovich happened to be there painting with Chris. Small world… big LOVE… and the MIKEY WEEKS “PSYCHONAUT” was the perfect catalyst for collaboration.

Some may notice the deck also doubles as Betty’s official pro model, thanks to the top graphic—but we’re pretty sure Mikey wouldn’t have it any other way.

P.S. Betty is Mikey’s dog, best friend, and ride-or-die—joined at the hip for all GS adventures and debauchery.

It’s always an honor to get the #GHOSTSHIPCREW together for the weekend, including our extended fam…

The Crew rolls deep, from Outer Banks’ skate legends @mike_mike_23_, @ruckace, and @yungpenguin, to young bucks @beter_martin, @di.egg.oo, and @ben.sawtell — to the VB killas @mike_fava, @ronnie0skates, @allhailskaten🏴‍☠️🖤

Throughout a full skate weekend that took us to North Myrtle with @catfishskates, @catfishblack2, and @the_vurt_junky757, then to Carolina Beach at @nolliescb for a full street sweep Saturday, and to a Sunday barbecue session at the @easternskateboardsupply skatepark, the crew sparks the same camaraderie off the board as they do mad skills on it. 🤍☠️

@bigdaddyoneal @waylon_gent13 @gent.joshua join us for the ride.
