🎄SISTER NUTCRACKER THEMED DATE NIGHT🎄 My sister’s love language is quality time and since she was in town I thought a nutcracker themed sister date night was in order!

🎄We made ham and Swiss cheese sliders in the air fryer with some tater tots and then got to decorating some nutcrackers that I found at @hobbylobby.

🎄She brought us some nutcracker pjs from @walmart and we got to painting. The nutcrackers took so much longer to finish that we anticipated so we took a break and had apple pie a la mode.

🏠DIY REEDED ISLAND🏠 Let’s DIY this 14 foot island! I had a vision for this island but after adding in a cost to replace our flooring, I decided we could try to DIY this instead of hiring it out.

🏠We headed to @homedepot and found this fluted trim from @wearewoodgrain. It gave the perfect detail without having to have something custom made. We primed all the boards and then sanded them afterwards.

🏠This was the day before we had the home photographed so we all rallied to get it completed.

🏠We framed out the island in a board and batten style first and then placed the detailed trim in between those. We caulked and painted with just enough time for the paint to dry so that we could get some gorgeous shots. I think it was worth it and adds so much more texture to this Airbnb.

BELANOVA CONCERT It was so much fun traveling to Dallas last week to go to the Belanova concert with @z.satx and Cedrric! The three of us haven’t been to a concert together in years so it was really nice to do so again! It was a really quick trip just there and back, but was so worth it to make memories with my sister and husband. @poker_traveler
