Never satisfied , always trying something else, looking for the next high of success, or relationships, you name it. You want to be in control so bad but you are never ok with your outcomes. Mindlessly you keep going. Thats your situation right now and reality of this world. If you are without Christ. If you’ve read this far you know what I’m talking about, and for the ones who didn’t make it this far are scared of what giving up control of their life looks like. How do I know? Cause that was me. Oh and this isn’t about giving things up. But what’s different now?

Jesus

Oh does that name offend you? Is It fake, fantasy, not real to you?

Why is it those things? Oh you don’t care enough to critically think? You know that lack of fulfillment I was talking about, or that mindless cycle you’re in? Thats a result of you denying that God isn’t knocking on your heart.

‭‭Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””

Hey that’s you.

Ok lock in 6 words that I’ve experienced since giving my life to God to Jesus

Peace: ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Fulfillment: ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Eternity: ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭
““For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Love: ‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”

Freedom: ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

Purpose: ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

I’m no better than anyone else reading this, but I now have a God who justifies my living. Where will you go after death?
