Thankful for an extended track season!

Indoors saw a lot of lessons learned, along with a lot of PRs. Outdoors came together with a lot of these 🥇🥈🥉 and a new one of these 💍 on its way. The cherry on top; my first national meet at Eugene for Ashlyn to compete at the USATF U20 National Championships! 2026 has been good so far, can’t wait for the second half. Enjoy these curated moments — especially the ones at the end of the stack when you get the REAL moments.

Lots could be said about this semester. I’m grateful that God challenged me and pushed me to become a better version of myself, and I’m super thankful for all the love and support people chose to give me during hardship. I love this team, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what I love repping EIU.

After a setback, you have two options: let the moment break your faith or let it build your character.

I've realized that God often hides restoration inside adversity, so that only through my faith I could see what my circumstances at the time could not. Some of God's most impactful lessons are taught in situations we would never choose for ourselves to be in.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
