Kind of funny how the universe works sometimes.

Flying home from the AHCA convention last week and I wind up sitting next to Scott, a @delta pilot from Minnesota. Turns out he went to a "small" school he didn't think I'd heard of… @mnstatemankato 😉. And his son is seriously looking at @auburnaviation to follow in his dad's footsteps.

Connection 1.

When a young lady took the seat between us, I glanced down and spotted an @auburnwomenslax backpack tucked under the seat in front of her. Interesting… 🤔 Turns out she's an Auburn alum, flying back to attend a friend's graduation. We got to talking about Auburn, hockey, and what we're building on The Plains. I told her I'd love to send her off with an @auwomenshockey puck, but I'd handed out my last one at the ACHA convention. Turns out, she was headed to the same graduation I was that weekend.

Connection 2.

Fast forward two days, and there's an AUWICE puck in the hands of a soon-to-be grad on the floor of Neville Arena, plus a few more fans and supporters of @auwomenshockey championing the idea of bringing a sheet of ice to Auburn.

Connection 3.

Funny how the world works sometimes.
