First set done and dusted, big thanks to Charlie @pulse.kib for the opportunity and a big thanks to everyone who came to show their love and support. Music has always been a passion of mine so when presented with the chance to learn how to mix it felt like a dream come true. I started learning vinyl in December 2025 and I never imagined that 9 months later I’d be mixing in front of friends/family and people I’d never met before. I’ve still got a lot to learn, a few creases to iron out and a lot more music to collect before I go again. Cheers all for the support, keep that two step going and I’ll see you all on the next one x

PULSE @ COAST

It was another one for the books.

I’m never one to mix business and my personal life. And I am certainly never one to put myself at the forefront of this project but on this occasion I will.

It’s been a tough year for me. And in the lead up to this I felt mentally and physically drained.

As I settle down to focus on myself, I just wanted to take a minute to reflect on how much Pulse means to me. It’s been a social hub, building relationships through music. And every time I thought it was done and dusted, the community has always found a way to bring it back.

Thank you all who have come to dance and have supported Pulse over the years. I look forward to seeing you all on the dance floor in 2027.

PULSE’S LAST OUTING

Pulse’s last event wasn’t a complete success. The weather didn’t hold out. There were turntable issues. And we happened to doing an event the same night as numerous other local promoters despite booking the event a year in advance.

But here’s what did happen: every DJ turned up and played some lovely sets. Loyal members of the community braved the weather to turn up regardless. Fun was had all round.

Not every failure is a loss.

PULSE returns to Coast on Friday 28th August to keep showing you how we do it.
