One thing I’m learning on my self-improvement journey is that not everything deserves a reaction, and not everything is about me.
It’s easy to overthink someone’s words, assume the worst, or let someone’s opinion affect how you see yourself but most of the time that is just someone projecting their insecurities onto you to feel better about themselves.
But I’m learning that I don’t have to take everything personally. Sometimes people have their own things going on. Sometimes their opinions won’t align with mine. And sometimes I need to pause and question my own assumptions.
That doesn’t mean ignoring genuine disrespect or refusing to learn from criticism. It means learning the difference.
I’m still working on this myself, but I wanted to share a few reminders that might help someone else too.
We’re not here to be perfect. We’re here to grow.
What’s one thing you’ve learned to stop taking personally?

Hip mobility isn’t just about flexibility it’s about improving control, range of motion and movement quality💯. These hurdle drills are a great way to challenge hip mobility while improving coordination & body awareness.

Congratulations to Zachary Edmonson-Deigh on his commitment to Saint Joseph’s University! He will be majoring in International Business. His favorite memories at Loyola Blakefield were running on the Varsity Track team, going to Penn Relays, especially his sophomore year. Attending Kairos 152, attending the Ignatian Family Teach-In, and Neighbors Retreat, giving Peer-Ed lessons, playing on JV Basketball, and dapping up Jude Ball everyday in the hallway. Good luck, Zach!
