WeLEAD 2026 🍀💚🍀!!

WeLEAD 2026 was truly amazing! WeLEAD is a conference where all Louisiana 4-H State Leadership Boards meet, plan, and coordinate for the upcoming program year. It was great seeing the amazing boards in attendance and the positive mindset everyone had in putting service first.

This week also marked an important milestone in my 4-H journey as I officially began fulfilling my Presidential responsibilities and duties. The Louisiana 4-H Executive Board participated in professional and servant leadership sessions to better understand our role as leaders of Louisiana 4-H, and we voted on the themes for JLC and 4-H University.

2026 will be an amazing year, and I can’t wait to visit and talk with everyone who makes Louisiana 4-H so special.

4-H - I can’t say I knew what I was getting into when I showed up, because I didn’t know how many memories, friends, experiences, and doors you would bring that young kid. Being on the Louisiana 4-H State Executive Board for the past 4 years has been nothing short of amazing. Planning JLC and 4-H U each year enabled me to shape so many lives including my own. 4-H gave me a platform not only to uplift myself but to bring others along with me. Thank you for preparing me for the life I want for myself… @louisiana4h fill the seats up when I’m headlining. 4-Hers hit my line up or I’ll be forced to show up uninvited✌️🍀

Roundtable #17 gets it done ‼️

A few weeks back I was in D.C. as a collegiate facilitator working with SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. I got the opportunity to lead 13 AMAZING youth from across the country, military, and territories to make a difference talking about youth substance abuse and programs needed to be put into action. These youth could not have made my experience any better. Not to mention, I got to work with other collegiate facilitator whom I’ve met at countless other 4-H Conferences! Always a blast with 4-H I tell ya!

Making the best better… in DC 🍀🇺🇸
 Feeling so blessed to have served as a collegiate facilitator at the 2026 National 4-H Conference— what a week!!

Roundtable 10 presented to the USDA Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement about “Cultivating Rural America’s Future.” I could not be any more proud of my delegates and what they came up with (& they’re not done yet 😉).
 My heart is so full getting to see old friends and meet so many new ones! So much love for @national4h and @usdagov !!
