This past Wednesday, our students and leaders took ministry Beyond the Walls and into our community!

Each group was given $25 and one simple challenge: go bless someone.

They prayed with people, paid for someone’s meal, bought meals for first responders, helped cover the cost of getting someone’s laundry cleaned, listened to real-life struggles, delivered and unloaded furniture for First Love Kids, and even picked up trash around the plaza.

It was a powerful reminder that being the hands and feet of Jesus doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it simply means seeing a need and doing something about it.

The church was never meant to stay inside the walls.

Our Lights of the South trip took an unexpected twist last week. When the attraction closed at the last minute, we had to pivot fast, so we loaded up and headed to Top Golf instead.

It wasn’t what we originally planned, but we still had a great time, laughed a lot, and made some awesome memories together. Sometimes the best moments happen in the unexpected.
