Maseylia: Echoes of the Past is a 3D metroidvania platformer. Release on 19th, June on Steam.

It took us 3 years to make this action adventure game, my two brothers and I, helped by @zachfitzgeraldcomposer our music composer and sound designer.

We just reached 15,000 wishlists on Steam thanks to you guys. Can’t wait to see you on the 19th !

This is just a small glimpse into what we’re doing in post-production.

We’re deep in the process of shaping the score with Zach Fitzgerald, finding that sweet spot where music and visuals elevate each other—especially for ‘Echo 8 Beyond’, which leans into a bold mix of genres. Sometimes we follow the rules, other times we break them.

Big shoutout to Zach—he’s been incredibly fluid throughout this whole process. The amount of discussions, negotiating, and sampling we’ve gone through together—you can feel it shaping into something special.

As creative artists, we’re really in it, collaborating to build an experience audiences are going to genuinely enjoy. 🎬⚡

Before vs After — 1 month of improvements

Over the past month, three interns joined the project and helped polish the game:
Model & Animation — @featherofsema
Game Feel Programming — @marl.cqt
UI — @noe.lbrr

Together we've been improving Maseylia: Echoes of the Past, while @zachfitzgeraldcomposer continues supporting the game with new musics and sound design (WIP).

What do you think of the improvements? 👀

Feeling the happiest I've been in a long time.

It's been a long year and a half for me. Moved across the country twice, started my life over, and was the most depressed I've ever been. Just feeling eternally grateful for my friends that have helped me through it all. Grateful for the experiences I've been able to have like touring the country, recording with a legendary producer, finally doing my first 14er, and being able to make music I love with friends that I love.
