Natural rubber starts with a pretty simple advantage- the tree does most of the work for nearly 30 years!

Our Yulex certified natural rubber from smallholders and cooperatives are grown in rain-fed systems (green water only) — no irrigation drip lines, no intensive water infrastructure, and no diversion of water from rivers.

Compared with water and input-intensive crops such as cotton and hemp, the land and water footprint looks very different. And compared with petrochemical-based materials such as neoprene and geoprene, you’re starting from a renewable, plant-based feedstock rather than fossil carbon that alone reduces CO2e emissions by at least 80%.

And the end result performa where it matters- in the water 🌊 (footwear, accessories +++ too).

That’s what makes natural rubber the best biobased material for wetsuit foam — lower-impact inputs without losing sight of performance.

Ironman 70.3 Hawaii

The heat had other plans. Dehydration hit hard, cramps followed on the run, and it turned into a long day of survival. Not the race I trained for, but I’m proud to have crossed that finish line.

Some days you race the course, other days you race yourself. On to the next one.

Ironman Hawaii 70.3 recap

The heat humbled me. Started cramping late on the bike and spent most of the run trying to stay ahead of it, but I kept moving and got it done.

Big thanks to the person who gave me salt pills when I needed them most. Grateful to have finished and excited to come back for redemption.
