Is this when Feel and Process overlap, creating the ultimate vibe?

One thing that I think I will focus on in my music career He’s trying to replicate the live vibe with a studio recording. I think this is a truly difficult thing to pull off, and I feel like it takes consistent work in and out of the studio to achieve that level of recording my favorite albums of all time are generally live recordings, because I just don’t think there’s any replaceable factor for the effect of having a live audience feed off of the energy in the immediate space and moment. My drive to create recordings of music that feel like you’re at the concert will be something that carries me to new rounds of music throughout my entire life. One thing I also think about is a life setting doesn’t need to be ruckus or out of control to feel like an amazing spiritual experience as well. It’s all about the mindset and perspective going into the performance and song that makes the difference. Let me know who feels the same way, or DIFFERENTLY!

A song can start anywhere, and in the day and age of bathroom recordings I think a song can be made just about anyplace. Maybe I’ll try and make a song underwater someday, could be a pretty cool project but would be hard to keep away from electrocution I’d say. I wrote this song in a 9x9 room across hundreds of miles at sea and it made its way up to NYC to be made right here near Times Square. Music takes you around the entire world and sometimes a song has to travel everywhere to finally come home!

THANK YOU DC!!

This is our fourth trip to DC this year! It’s been such a joy to get to know the people and community in the DMV area. Thank you so much to the band @maxbarrettmusic @zachlevinezachlevine @samuelaaronpeters y’all killed it!! Humongous thank you to the Barrett family for their support and shoutout Owen!!

The DCD5 is such a dynamic space with quite striking features. They all look so cinematic to me and so when I found my old GoPros in SD this summer, I knew I could use them for this show specifically :) see you soon DC

Been looking forward to this weekend since July I always get so excited to play such a great spot, especially because of the staff+audience. they treat us with so much respect and love that we end up always going a few minutes over fielding the last few requests from the crowd. So grateful for the opportunity to play and jam, we play tonight 7pm and tomorrow 10pm!! This’ll be my fourth weekend trip to DC this year!
