Chapter 25

Time is a strange companion. As children, we think it waits for us. Then one day we realize it has been quietly shaping us all along.

I’ve learned that suffering cannot be a home, but it can become a teacher. That success fades, but faithfulness endures. That the deepest strength is often the quiet kind no one applauds.

Looking back, I see more grace than coincidence.

God has remained faithful through every season. patient in my failures, present in my doubts, and kind beyond what I deserved.

If these twenty-four years have taught me anything, it’s this:

A meaningful life isn’t measured by what we gain, but by what we give away.

Here’s to becoming less concerned with being remembered, and more committed to loving well.
For what we do in this life will echo in eternity

Alright last birthday post but it's a good one. This past monday was a rare moment in how many close friends of mine took the time out of their busy schedules to suprise me in a bowling alley. As creepy as that sounds, there's nothing that makes a mid-west boy feel more at home. I love each and every one of these beautiful people, behind, and in front of the camera.

Recently I feel I’ve been drowning unable to breathe, to create. I rely a lot on photography for self expression or at the very least a way of releasing stress by doing something I enjoy. I’ve been weighed down by time, finance, or simply others bailing on scheduled shoots.
I’m currently working on a project consisting of 26 images that correspond to the letters in the alphabet. In the past I haven’t completed projects that are demanding of time, I’m hoping this one ends better.
