What it means to me to be the monitor engineer. It’s more than a gig, more than technical, more than music, and way more than me. This is protecting moments for whoever is on stage as they deliver their vision to thousands of people. Understanding people, building trust, responsibility, listening, creating confidence, hearing words that are not spoken out loud. Signals can travel all day through wires or transmitted over frequencies—but without these fundamentals, I have nothing. So what does being monitor engineer mean to me?
Honestly, everything.

Summer tour dump! ☀️ 🌊

Had a blast this summer out with Little Big Town and one of THE nicest ( and most welcoming) crews in all of country music!

Made some new friends, reconnected with old ones, + crossed paths with more spiders than I EVER needed.

I promise there were lights ( big thanks to @claremathison @jasongiaffo + @4wall) … this is all the other stuff.

(Also, someone tell me I’m not the only LD whose camera roll looks like pic 10!)

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY🎉 to my handsome baby brother!! I’m so proud of the man you have become. Hard working, kind, driven, loyal, lovable and the most talented person I’ve ever known. I’m grateful that God gave me the best brother in the world. You’re the apple of my eye. I love you so much!
