From water fights to sleepless nights, hammocks break, and that’s just life.

Avodah ‘26 has been more than a roller coaster for me. Of course, there were ups and downs, there always are. But the ride is always thrilling, and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to experience it.

I made so many new connections this summer that I know I’ll never lose. I’m closer to these people than I have been to anyone else in my life. Each and every one of them is so wonderful, caring, and means the world to me. This year, I was diagnosed with depression, and it’s been difficult adjusting to the changes life has thrown my way. Whenever I spiraled at camp, there was never a shortage of people to support me and help bring me back to my best.

Thank you to my unit heads, Sasha Albright, Esther Goldstein, Sara Borek, and Jacob Feuer, for making this summer better than any other.
