Global running day part 2: the whole point. The friends, family, community that you meet while running is life changing. I used to be nervous to run races and with groups because I’m a slower runner, but I have found out that pace does not matter and doesn’t define you as a runner. The people running 6 min miles are still cheering for those running 15+ minute miles. We all just want to see each other succeed and reach our individual goals. Those that may think opposite to that are very few but they don’t run with heart, they run with ego. I recommend getting out there to run some miles and more so do those miles with other runners. Once I surrounded myself with like minded people who enjoy pushing themselves to limits, I bloomed into a better runner because they push me daily. In my opinion there is nothing better than the running community❤️🌊🙌🫶

Just over a month until Notchview 24hour ultra, time to lock in and grind! Building up my mileage again with a 60 mile week. 2nd one ever but honestly feeling really good! Started the week off on Monday with the Memorial Day 10k and ended the week off running the Newport 10 miler! Eating up miles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but never satisfied. I’m always hungry for more! June is going to be a baaaad month to be miles, I’m hungry and ready to eat! Many more miles and smiles to come😈🔥

What a memorable day yesterday it was to celebrate these seven seniors! Thank you Tiana, Allison, Zach, Chris, Jacob, Smitty, and Rachel for having such a positive impact on the @gordon_xctf program. You all have helped continue to grow and elevate the program throughout your careers.
