Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Catskill Pride this past Saturday! We have a Google Drive in our linktree so you can add any photos you took at the event! We would love to see them!!

We couldn’t have done this without our incredible community and wanted to give some special thanks. Thank you first and foremost to Mary DiStefano and Elliott Matos, two people who have been incredible supports to us in founding Greene County Pride and in organizing this event. Both of them have organized and run Catskill Pride Events in the past and in doing so made this event possible as well as creating incredible queer joy and community spaces.

We would also like to thank the people volunteering their time, energy, and resources to this event. Thank you to Loosi Corkscrew Boots (@loosi_corkscrew) for MCing, to DJ Hueman (@indradhanush42) for letting us borrow their sound equipment and for DJing, to Emmett (@_auror._) for acting as our police liaison, to CCSM (@ccsmny) for letting us borrow their marshaling equipment and for running a marshal training, to The Catskill Community Center (@catskillcommunitycenter) for awarding us an incredible grant, to Natasha Law for her endless support and answers to all of our questions, to T Boris-Schacter(@2hot2instagrahamcracker_handle) for all of their incredible advice and support, to Gigi (@ggveenyc) for running our Greene County Pride table and making it as wonderful as it was, to all of our wonderful volunteers and marshals, and lastly to all of you, thank you for your support, thank you for coming! If you would like to help out next year, let us know!

It was really special being able to attend the Pride Flag raising in Athens this evening.

Truly moving speeches, I’m so thankful for everyone who shared their experiences, spoke about their communities, and above all their stories.

A strong reminder that we need to band together and stand with the LGTBQ+ community today and everyday.

Happy Pride!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Queer Skate Night at @skatetimeny! 🛼 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈
Folks did a lot of skating, but we also did a lot of crafting. 🎨🖍️
We wrote letters to our future selves, wrote some things down to release in 2026, read oracle cards, and made vision boards. I can't wait to open the letters in January 2027! 💌
We also played some fun arcade games, ate yummy snacks, and goofed around. It was a really sweet and intimate night of queer community. 💖
Thank you to the new faces, and the folks who consistently show up to our events. We couldn't be more grateful for this little family we have built! 🫂
It was lovely to have one last hang before we all got snowed in today! ❄️
We'll see y'all next time 👋🏻
