Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen is officially open.

Come see us.

Proud to have made something “beautifully strange” with an outstanding group of artists. Got to celebrate it with some of the ones I love the most last night. Lucky lucky boy.

This summer we needed another black Martin guitar for Once at Saugatuck Center for the Arts, and I offered to go in with the theatre to buy one. (I've always wanted a Martin.) Kurt Stamm wouldn't hear of it and gave it to me, which is about as generous as it gets. Zack Zaromatidis played it every night as Guy, and this weekend, he played it again when I directed an industry reading of Rathskeller, a new musical. With him in the cast was Gina Milo, an SCA favorite who played the Witch in Kurt’s Into the Woods this summer. His gift helped three SCA artists create something new together. Thank you, Kurt, for a gift that's already paying it forward!

Rathskeller: NYC Industry Presentation

It’s so rare to get the opportunity to be part of “new” work.

I was fortunate enough to be brought into this piece that has lived many lives before me. It was an honor to help bring @brianna_barnes_ ‘s incredible script, score, & characters to life! Thank you for trusting me with Becca ❤️ & congratulations to you on such a successful presentation (after wearing about 17 different hats to make this whole process run seamlessly)!

It was also a dream to work with @treycompton again. Your vision, care, & attention to detail is a beautiful thing to experience. (Social media-less) Alex is an absolute angel & attacked this beast of a score with ease and joy.

I was so inspired every day, surrounded by these amazing artists. Thank you @larahayhurst for making this all possible (& for having really awesome friends). I’m so so grateful.

@rathskellermusical is a special piece and I can’t wait to see the life it takes on from here! Until then ❤️‍🔥🤘🏼🎸☠️🥃
