“Just Before Dawn” is the first screenplay I wrote and set out to produce and act in. I didn’t think I was gonna make this move into filmmaking but with the encouragement of those around me I slowly got the bug. Westerns are my heartbeat. I knew I was making the right choice watching the cast bring the words to life in rehearsals and blocking some of the fight choreography brought to life by @bmarsh108 . We ran into some delays with filming but with all things in life, those lessons needed to be learned. To be better and to sharpen my craft as a filmmaker. I’m looking forward to working with these actors again and sharing this western with yall. 🤞🏾
I’m writing all this to say…so many of us wait for permission to create what we want to see and experience. Don’t wait. Create it. Write it. Shoot it. Perform it. Paint it. The world needs YOU.
