Week 41 started with a question nobody was asking. 👀🤯
What happens when two of the biggest acts on the ARIA charts share a record? 🤔

@ropsfrmda6ix4our and @the_046_official answered it with “No Deals”, a G-Funk single produced by @sefrutheproducer . The @zacobro directed video was sitting at number 12 on YouTube’s music trending chart a day after release.
@kerserofficial , meanwhile, did what he has done for two decades. Another standalone single, and he made it sound easy.
@mav_trc took on the “Churchill Downs” instrumental and delivered the strongest release of his run so far.
@lavez27 and @dkayontop gave Melbourne a link up with “Potty Mouth”.
@ribby247 released “CARRION” his last ever record.
@yungmaynie_ kept his run going alongside @craigiewave ,
@day1bne returned,
and @retzofficialhbb and @fithstudios did not slow their schedule.

The biggest takeaway?
Collaboration has run through the whole of 2026.
This week it peaked.
The scene is more connected than it was at the start of the year, and more link ups could follow before it ends.

Some collaborations makes sense on paper.
Very few sound this natural on a record. 🔥

2026 has been the “Year Of Collaborations” in Australian Rap.
Artists have kept working outside their usual circles, and the scene has felt more connected as a result.

Then, @ropsfrmda6ix4our and @the_046_official linked up for the first time… 👀

@sefrutheproducer built “No Deals” around a funky west coast bounce influence: harpsichord keys, violin strings, and a Bassline that walks with the drums.
It moves faster than a lot of his previous work, but all the detail is still present.

Directed and edited by @zacobro , the visual matches the record.
Warm colour grading, mask and motion cuts, and run down urban locations with that early 2000’s feel.

Serfs and The 046 has a long history, and it gave the scene Aus G-Funk.
Rops1 entering that lineage is the part nobody saw coming.
A day after release, the video was sitting at 12th on YouTube’s music trending charts with over 35k views.
