🇺🇦𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗨𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆!🇺🇦

Bondi Beach was alive in a sea of blue and yellow as the Ukrainian community came together for a parade in honour of 35 years of Ukrainian independence!

Against one of Australia’s most iconic backgrounds, we proudly danced, sang and waved the Ukrainian flag — a powerful symbol of freedom, resilience and the unbreakable spirit of the Ukrainian people.

For 35 years, Ukraine has shown the world that freedom is not simply given — it is cherished, defended, and fought for. Through every challenge, the Ukrainian spirit remains unbreakable, and the desire for freedom burns stronger than ever.

Zahrava Ukrainian Youth Association Dance Ensemble

Zahrava has been together since the 60's as part of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Sydney

We've had many opportunities to perform all over Australia & New Zealand but nothing beats performing in our own home town.

Our dancers range from 4 to 40 and are thrilled to be performing again at Ukifest.

We will showcase some new choreography along with some old favourites.

For some it's their first time performing, for others it's their fifth time at Ukifest.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
