The last slide is worth the swipe…💫

When we started Covert Activewear, it wasn’t just about creating clothes—it was about solving a problem.

We wanted activewear that was modest, flattering, and empowering, especially for women like us who didn’t see themselves represented. Building a brand hasn’t been easy, we’ve faced countless challenges. Some days feel like uphill battles, but our belief in this mission keeps us moving forward.

It’s YOU who inspire us—every message, every story from women feeling confident in Covert reminds us why we started. This is bigger than us; it’s about changing the narrative for girls and beyond, proving that we can thrive, dream, and redefine the industry together.

Thank you for believing in us.🤍

What a day!

There’s so much I can talk about. Starting from zero just three months ago and signing up for this Ironman 70.3 after listening to Can’t Hurt Me by @davidgoggins, I wanted to do something to truly challenge myself.

No experience on a bike. Never swam in open water. The only real swimming I had ever done was laps during my senior year swim class and swim lessons as a little kid. The longest run I’d ever done more than once was about 5 miles. I ran around 8 once and couldn’t walk for a week lol.

I could talk about all the injuries and getting sick—not just during training, but throughout race week, all the way up to race day when I was still sick.

I could talk about all the thoughts going through my head about not being able to race, after all the hard work and with all my loved ones there to support me.

Watching everyone in Santa Cruz full of high energy, getting in their last bit of work, while I was just lying around doing nothing. Just trying to do everything in my power to be healthy for race day.

It was a roller coaster for sure. Looking back, all of that made the experience that much more meaningful.

When I crossed that finish line, all the emotions hit. I don’t get emotional very often, but I couldn’t control it this time. I saw my family and I had to go the other way to try and compose myself lol.

All the work I put in. Being so excited to compete, then thinking I wouldn’t even be able to race all week because I was sick, and finally saying f*** it and finishing the race. That feeling is hard to put into words.

I gave it my all. I had nothing left to give when I crossed that line. Such a beautiful feeling.

I haven’t felt so much gratitude in a very long time. This was one of the best experiences of my entire life. So much to be thankful for.

And out of everything, the thing I’m most grateful for is my family. Being there with me, cheering me on. The experience would not have been the same without them. For that, I’m the most fortunate.

I didn’t hit my sub-6 goal due to some issues I dealt with in the lead-up and throughout the race. But I learned so much. A healthy me will be going sub-5 very soon. Can’t wait for the next one!
