KLSCM26 FULL MARATHON Not the result I wanted. I came in with a different target, but somewhere past KM35, the legs started writing a different story. The spirit was willing, The body wasn’t ready. But I finished. Another limit exposed. Another lesson archived. Powered by @nmrcstudios Backed by @positivementalattitude__

KLSCM was more than just showing up. We set up the @nmrcstudios booth, cheered with PMA, met new faces, made new friends. Some came for the goods, brought the noise, or just pulled up to hang. Strangers came through and left as friends, and a little NMRC went home with them. That’s what made the day… All love to @bnwrc , @beanbrothers.my , @shokzmalaysia , the rest of the run clubs, crews, runners, and everyone who came through our corner at KLSCM. Different crews. One community. PMA ALL THE WAY!!

No plan for this race, missed a few weeks of training—it was fun though! 📸 Held the pace for sub 100 first 10km (it’s a long shot), but nah it’s not my time yet. Slowed down and waited for @shamisyauqina to pace her towards the end. She bagged the 2-hours clock! 🐐 That’s it, Thanks KL, Thanks @bnwrc “KL YOU WERE CRUEL” 🖤 🫵🏼👑

KLSCM marks one year of my running journey, and it was also my debut running this event. You can run all the world majors, but I don’t think you’ll ever get the same feeling if you haven’t run KLSCM. Because this is home. It’s the familiar faces you see along the road, the people cheering at the cheer zones, and running through the heart of your own hometown on the same roads where traffic has probably annoyed you countless times. Somehow, running through these roads and cheering for other people feels completely different. This race really tested me, both physically and mentally. It was the first time I experienced a really bad cramp during a race, luckily with only 200m to go. I wasted 3–4 minutes just trying to make it to the finish line. I was already thinking about DNF as early as KM 6. There were definitely moments where I questioned whether I could actually make it to the finish line. Some races just push you to your limit, and this was definitely the hardest. But I’m glad I kept going and managed to finish with a little bit of a PB (Strava). A last minute bib transfer was what got me here. Honestly, I had my doubts about doing it because I knew my fitness and body weren’t at their best. But fomo got me there 🙃. The distance will test you in so many ways. But that’s also the beauty of it. You get tested, you learn something about yourself. And of course, getting to experience all of this with familiar faces and meeting new ones along the way makes it even more meaningful. Selamat Hari Raya to all Malaysian runners. See you guys again next year. Now back to the main agenda and training, Bangkok is waiting. Thanks to @nrlamn for the first photo✨ #stravamy #klscm #nikerunclub

It’s been almost two months since our last Sabtu Run. Life got busy. Kerja, events, races, everyone had their own things going on. So last Saturday, we decided to get things moving again. This time kita tukar angin sikit. New route, new starting point. Started from Nimroc Coffee, Maluri, then made our way through Cheras and Pudu before looping back to where we started. Tak ramai kali ni. Just five or six of us. But that’s okay. Sometimes you don’t need a big crowd to have a good run. Good miles, new streets, catching up along the way, then balik Nimroc Coffee for coffee and breakfast. Simple Saturday morning. Good to be running together again. Now we slowly get back into rhythm and back to the community. Next Sabtu Run 15.8.26 | 7:30am KLCC Park, Menara Exxonmobil 5KM. See you Saturday. PMA - Positive Mental Attitude.
