zally turns four today🎂🎉

Four years in, we’re building a foundation model for human behavior. There have been ups and downs, hard calls and big swings, and we’re stronger for all of it.

I’ve been building since I was 10, and what matters most hasn’t changed: the people you build with. The zally team is bold, brave and kind, and every bit of this is theirs too.

To the people at home who share me with zally: thank you. You carry more of this than anyone sees.

No risk, no story. It’s tattooed on my arm, and zally keeps proving it right.

Here’s to year five 🚀❤️

Yesterday, I experienced TEDx Northern Quarter from a completely different perspective, not just as an attendee, but as part of the crew. 🎤✨

Being behind the scenes gave me a whole new appreciation for what it takes to make an event happen.

The planning.
The coordination.
The teamwork.
The problem-solving.
And all the little things people don't get to see.

I also had the opportunity to listen to some incredible speakers ( @dumpedlingss @asiasharif27 @joshstrifehayes @jessrobinsonofficial @vicky.owens, Elliot Kay )and meet amazing disruptors and innovators including Aiden from @zallyai , Rogiros, Bruce and Gbenga from @lolapcapp , and @myles.premium from @premiumfuelclub.uk.

Being in a room filled with people building, disrupting and creating change was genuinely inspiring.

A huge thank you to @simran_whitham and @andycoleynlp at @format_group for extending the volunteer crew invitation and giving me the opportunity to experience all of this from behind the scenes. 🙌

Sometimes, stepping behind the curtain gives you a completely different appreciation for the magic happening on stage.

What's something you've experienced from behind the scenes that completely changed your perspective? 👇

Behind every TEDx event is a team ❤️

When you see a TEDx stage, you see the speakers.

You see the lights.
You hear the ideas.
You feel the energy in the room.

But behind every moment on that stage is a team of people working tirelessly, often quietly and long before the doors open.

For TEDxNorthernQuarter 2026, that team has been planning, organising, creating, coaching, producing, designing, problem solving, emailing, calling, chasing, supporting and occasionally putting out fires for months so that our speakers can be the best they can be on September 11th.

From speaker curation and coaching, to production and staging.
From partnerships and sponsorships, to marketing and social media.
From venue logistics and accessibility, to ticketing, volunteers and everything in between.

There are people behind the scenes making sure the smallest details are taken care of, so that when our audience walks through the doors, they can simply be present and experience the ideas.

And that work matters.

Because TEDx isn't created by one person. It is created by a community of people who believe ideas are worth sharing.

So, before we celebrate the incredible speakers taking to the TEDxNorthernQuarter stage, we want to take a moment to celebrate the people who have helped make that stage possible.

To our team, partners, volunteers, coaches, suppliers, supporters and everyone who has given their time, energy and expertise: thank you.

Your names might not be on the big screen.

You might not step onto the red circle.

But you are part of the story.

This is your TEDx too.

Spent time at No.10 yesterday and came away genuinely energised about the future of UK sovereign AI.

Thank you to the team at No.10 for the conversations, and a big thank you to the team for hosting @zallyai and for the brilliant tour.

London continues to attract some of the world’s best companies, and yesterday it showed its very best side. 34 degrees and all 🔥☀️🇬🇧

Grateful, and excited for what’s ahead.

Cross-border growth is rarely linear, and rarely what the headlines suggest. Grateful to @wsj for the chance to share the real version in LA last week during @greatcampaign

📢 TEDXNORTHERNQUARTER 2026 SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

We’re proud to announce @zallyai will be joining us as an official sponsor of TEDxNorthernQuarter 2026! 🎤 🔴

zally is a Behavioral AI Lab building the foundation that turns behaviour into continuous understanding.

Technology often fails to adapt because it cannot truly see who or what is behind an action, or recognise how behaviour evolves in real time. zally changes that. Their technology interprets behaviour as it unfolds, maintaining continuous confidence in who or what is acting.

This enables systems to adapt intelligently and seamlessly without friction, without rigid static checks, without brittle rules, and without guesswork.

At TEDxNorthernQuarter, we celebrate ideas shaping the future. zally is helping build a world where technology responds to behaviour with clarity, precision and confidence.

We’re delighted to have them supporting this year’s event.

🎫 2/3 of our tickets are now sold out, so make sure to grab one whilst you can.

WHAT AN EVENT 🧡

Yesterday, the FORMAT Group kicked off our 2026 event season with the RE:FORMAT Games and Tech Industry Summit in Manchester 🎮🐝

We welcomed industry leaders from across the UK for a full day of insightful talks, panels and networking covering video game and technology investment, games publishing, cross sector innovation, scaling studios and practical business strategies for growth! 🤝

Our daytime summit was completely sold out, with over 80 industry leaders in attendance. The momentum continued into the evening at our industry mixer in collaboration with Game Hive, where we welcomed close to 150 leaders from across the UK.

RE:FORMAT is always a special way to start our event calendar. It gives Manchester and our sector the platform to showcase the incredible innovation happening across our region.

A huge thank you to our speakers, hosts and supporting partners for giving their time, insight and support to make this event a reality. Your contribution is what makes REFORMAT what it is.
