Some photographs from Z&M’s romantic Welsh micro wedding last Saturday.

Their day started with signing the legal paperwork at a local registry office first thing in the morning. And then their wedding day could begin.

An hour’s walk into the mountains led us to a secluded lake where they stood surrounded by the people they love most and promised one another forever during a beautifully personal ceremony.

I watched tears being wiped away, laughter echo across the water, and afterwards we all sat down for a picnic by the lake with absolutely zero pressure to rush off anywhere.

Later, back at their cottage, the celebrations carried on in exactly the same spirit. Garden games, shared food, lots of laughter, and that lovely feeling of not needing (or wanting) to be anywhere else.

From the very beginning, they’d decided they didn’t want their wedding day to fit around tradition. They wanted it to feel like an extension of who they are as people and the life they’ve built together. A little bit wild, beautifully simple and completely themselves.

Days like this are such a privilege to be part of. They remind me that there isn’t one right way to get married - only the way that feels right for the two of you.

I hope they’ll always remember just how good this day felt.

Finally married my bestie! Took an hour long hike down the aisle, surrounded by the wild Welsh mountains. Minimal dress damage, no rain and an altogether unforgettable day that was totally us! 💍⛰️🥂

The year has whistled by it seems. From an idea cooked up over bread and cheese and then brought into reality with the skills and knowledge of @itsallrideable to having a shared ride with @thinklikeamountain.cc and meeting great people to finally (for this year) being able to hand over a hugely helpful donation to #easternvalleyfoodbank What I’ve found genuinely amazing is the wide and varied locations of participants: Switzerland, Scotland, France, New Zealand, and many more. I hope we get the chance to picnic together at some point. #alwaysbepicnicing #ridebikesdogoodthings

Puerto Rico 01/2020
- These jeeps were everywhere across Vieques. A fitting car to hire considering it used to be a US army base. The base is now decommissioned after protests from locals where the cancer rate was 27% higher than mainland PR (because of contamination) and after some bombs missed their target and killed a civilian. Much of the island still has not been cleared from unexploded arms.

But the parts you can visit are some of the most beautiful spots I have ever visited to date.

Started this early this week. Join us daily during this challenging time to stay creative safe at home. Are you an artist, work in the creative industry or just need a brief for your kids. Every day we will post a one word brief. You can do this daily, post every other day or just once a week. Grab a layout pad, a sharpie, a canvas, your iPad or typewriter. It’s time to make something beautiful (please avoid any pasta art as we are running low in the U.K.) Create it.
Post it*.
Tag it with @stayhomestaycreative #stayhomestaycreative
Repeat. *Post it on social media or just stick it on the fridge, just share with someone safely. @stayhomestaycreative
