POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Life lately has been good. Very good.

The funny thing is… that’s kind of the deal. 😂

Spend hours training.

Spend hours filming.

Spend even more hours editing.

Post a 20-second reel…

…so thousands of people you’ve never met can decide in about two seconds whether they like it or not.

And honestly? I’m okay with that.

Because every reel is another chance to improve, tell a better story, inspire someone to get moving, and build something I’ve genuinely enjoyed creating.

So here’s to chasing big goals, embracing a little criticism, and pressing “post” anyway.

Now excuse me while I overthink this caption for the next 15 minutes. 🤝

One of the fastest ways to improve is to stop being the strongest person in the group.

Run with people who are faster.
Train with people who challenge you.
Surround yourself with people whose standards are higher than your own.

It’ll humble you.

You’ll get dropped.
You’ll have sessions where you wonder if you belong.

But little by little, you’ll find yourself keeping up with people you once struggled to follow.

Growth has a funny way of happening when you’re willing to be the least experienced person in the room.

I’d rather chase people who are ahead of me than stay comfortable leading from the front.

That’s where the breakthroughs happen.

John ‭13:35‬ ‬
[35] By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves].

Devotional

John reiterates this idea in his first letter (1 John 3:14; 4:20). Jesus sets love as the primary outward sign of a person's Christian faith. He is especially referring to love between those who claim to be His followers. Earlier in the evening, Jesus humbly washed the feet of His disciples (John 13:2–5). He explained that this was an example of service for them to follow (John 13:12–17). In the prior verse, Jesus indicated that this command to love falls under that same umbrella: we are to love as Jesus loved (1 John 3:16; Ephesians 5:25). This was phrased as a renewed, re-emphasized command stemming from those He had given before (Matthew 22:36–40).

No aspect of Christian faith can be dismissed, though some are more pressing than others . These include sound doctrine (Titus 2:1; 1 Timothy 6:3–5) and moral behavior (1 John 1:7; Colossians 3:1–10). But the gold standard for living out Christian belief, and the means by which believers are to distinguish themselves from non-believers, is expressed in this verse. As Paul expresses in 1 Corinthians chapter 13, nothing is commendable unless it is done out of love (1 Corinthians 13:1–3). Love must be pursued truthfully and with good judgment (Ephesians 4:15; John 7:24; 1 John 3:18), but it cannot be set aside under any circumstances.

Prayer

Lord,I thank you for loving me first so that I can love others,I pray that you will continue to shine through me so others may see your unconditional love, and I pray that I will continue to be teachable while pursuing you
In Jesus;name, Amen

Last year December I got to have the privilege of seeing so many people get baptized. I got to witness God's hand print on 18 peoples lives as we had the honor of baptizing them. Its an incredible thing to witness. But for me it was even more special to witness it happen to people I dearly care for.. my brother @joshuavanroodt and I have the honor.. we've volunteered our lives to the Kingdom of God for the Glory of God. @_simply.joe and @kelsdawson_ it is a honor to be part of this moment now you two are called into his kingdom to do the very same thing. I have seen the Lord already use you in mighty ways!

The man behind the lens @gareth_green is very talented but a legend himself and a true brother!
