We hope that all of our artists got to mingle and chat with the other painters! Competition is a loose word we use to get patrons in the door, but this is mostly a fun community event to have some fun and meet some new people! Let us know in the comments if you got introduced to a new artist at our event! Photography by @tommy.kelson

WE ARE LIVE! We are thrilled to announce yet another Warlord Titan to be raffled away to benefit Doctors Without Borders, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Fisher House Foundation. This incredible Titan, painted by Damian Zari @zariarts, has a deep backstory and the “Caedes Lucis” will be a sight to behold on the tabletop. This gigantic model conjures images of a Gothic cathedral, where the heretics will see their place before the might of the True Emperor. Those that fall to chaos shall be crushed underfoot of the steel and fire of the empire! This magnificent Titan comes with a KR carrying case to keep the model safe for transport to your next game. This Titan is unique, however, in that it has a deep background lore that has been created by none other than Black Library author Ben Counter. “The Light of Carnage” is a tale that delves into the events that occurred during the assault on the heretical world of Gorgis by Princeps Kreskiv and her crew of the Caedes Lucis. The winner will get a bound copy of this short story created specifically for this raffle! The raffle is live now! Head over to www.novaopenfoundation.org/product-page/light-of-carnage to purchase your tickets to support our three charities during the giving season and possibly win this incredible prize. Tickets will be available for purchase until December 2nd when we will draw the winner of this item along with 40+ other raffle items that generous artists from around the world have donated. Damian is a brilliant 2D artist and has done some 2D art for the NOCF previously. Please be sure and check out his IG page: www.instagram.com/zariartstuff/ Ben Counter is not only an amazing author for the GW Black Library, he also paints miniatures. Earlier this year he donated an entire Ultramarine army and also contributed to the fall World Eaters army. Check him out on IG as well at www.instagram.com/ben.counter/ Blow up their social media and be sure to give them a like and follow! #warlordtitan #gamesworkshop #adeptustitanicus #airbrushart #warhammer40k #forgeworld #warhammercommunity #paintingforgeworld40k

The countdown to the 2023 NOCF fall raffle has begun! In less than 3 weeks there is going to be a ton of amazing miniatures going up for raffle to once again support our 3 charities—the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and Fisher House Foundation. We will have ANOTHER Titan up for grabs. This amazing piece from Damian Zari will be game table ready and will feature his amazing 2D artwork on the panels of the mighty Caedes Lucis. But there is more! Ben Counter from Games Workshop's Black Library has written a short story "The Carnage of Light" about YOUR Titan. How awesome would it be to own the Titan that already has a backstory written by a Black Library author? We also will be raffling off one of the most incredible items since our inception in 2013—Primarchs on Parade. 18 world renown artists from across the globe have joined forces to paint all 18 Primarchs to display quality. The winner of this raffle will win all 18 Primarchs and thanks to a generous donation from Artis Opus, these beautiful models will come in their own lighted display case to show off the artistry of the sculptures from Forge World. Truly a must have for a collector of art or diehard fan of Warhammer 40k. There is so much more in this raffle, however. We will have an unprecedented 5 army sized raffles up for grabs, both in Games Workshop's AoS fantasy setting and in the Warhammer 40k universe as well. Perhaps you are more interested in skirmish sized games? We will have 8 different unit sizes raffles from various tabletop games. If your tabletop doesn't need a whole unit or army, be sure and keep an eye out for the 25+ single item models from generous artists from around the world. Or perhaps you would rather win an experience rather than an item. Win a trip to the Mini Wargaming vault or an individual tutoring session with multi award winning Matt DiPietro. In total we will have 45 items that you can win in the fall raffle. Purchase your tickets once the raffle goes live later this month at www.novaopenfoundation.org and beat the rush on your Black Friday shopping and help those less fortunate than ourselves as an added bonus.
