Yesterday marked our very first pop-up event at Black Wall Street in New Haven, and we’re still smiling from all the love and support. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported our small business, shared kind words, and purchased a candle. Your support means the world to us and makes this journey even more special. 🤍🕯️ This is just the beginning. Stay tuned for what’s next!

Officially An Elm City’s Finest 💎

My final accomplishment of my 20s was performing at The Shubert Theatre. I’m incredibly proud to have reached this moment and deeply grateful to God for the timing of it all.
I had the honor of curating She Still Speaks Shakespeare for Elm City’s Finest- Shakespeare Fest. A piece exploring the voices of Shakespearean women and their bold expressions of desire, power, and identity, and how those words still resonate today.
So thankful for the love it received and for @zariiiah & @shubertnewhaven for the opportunity 🙌🏽

The first Elm City’s Finest of 2026 is in two weeks 🔥 Meet the Singer-Songwriters performing on February 19:

Born and raised in New Haven, KDNS has gone from making his mark on the community as a New Haven Public Schools teacher to making his mark on the music industry. The arrival of the container was an emotional moment for all of us. Since Hurricane Melissa, we have been working nonstop—donating, collecting, sorting, and packing, with one shared goal in our hearts. Seeing the container arrive, knowing that we load tomorrow and take the next step in sending support to Jamaica, fills us with gratitude and hope.

“Thank you” will never be enough. We are deeply thankful to our members, our partners, and our entire community for going above and beyond for our birth country. Your generosity, compassion, and unwavering support made this moment possible, and we are truly grateful to each and every one of you. #communitysupport #jamaicastrong #connectingcommunityandculture

We had the wonderful opportunity to share our organization’s work and our hurricane relief efforts with the legal department at Pfizer’s NYC headquarters. After the presentation, they generously donated school supplies, with a special focus on high school students preparing for their exams. Their support means so much, and we are truly grateful! #communitysupport #jamaicastrong
