ANOTHER BFA COLLECTION WOOOO i have such a soft spot for @bryedabrye collection When the Sun Braided my Hair this collection made me feel so seen as someone that’s had their ups and downs when it comes to loving their hair AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE POODLE PUFF DRESS the first time i saw it i screamed oh my gosh that’s me being surrounded by these wonderful artists of color was such a joyful and memorable experience for me LOVE YOU ALL <3

After a long year of work, I’m happy to present my BFA collection, When the Sun Braided my Hair. Exploring the creativity and versatility of Black hair, this collection is a love letter to my personal hair journey and that of many Black women. I’m so thankful to my BFA family, my besties Pearl, Evelyn, Simone, Ellie, Jules, and Kenzie, and all my family in Texas including my amazing hairdresser @chanelcomisione for supporting me in so many tremendous ways. Also a huge thank you to the amazing photographer @allyfreidly for these beautiful photos.
